Community Involvement

Twin Cities Hearts and Hammers is a non-profit organization that serves local communities by organizing volunteers and revitalizing the homes of qualified homeowners. Parsons’ volunteers provide carpentry work, replace window glass, clear shrubs, plant flowers, replace gutters, and paint the homes of those in need.

Parsons’ employees donate part of their income to the Greater Twin Cities United Way. The United Way provides services such as affordable housing, job training, and youth programs that are geared towards strengthening communities and improving the lives of individuals.

Parsons is an active fundraiser for the Northern Star Council/Boy Scouts of America. The funds we raise help develop character, citizenship, and fitness. Parsons believes that the youth of today are America’s future and, by investing in this program, we are helping to shape that future in a positive way.

During hurricane Katrina, Parsons matched all employee contributions to the American Red Cross. Contributions helped victims of Hurricane Katrina and other national disasters.

Each December, Parsons’ employees donate toys to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. This organization helps all children experience the joys of Christmas.
