Welcome to the latest issue of The Electrical Connection. I hope your spring is off to a great start.
In this edition, we continue with a feature that explores the impact a new political season can have on our construction economy. From green energy tax credits to green building codes to federal mandates, the impact is profound.
We are exceptionally excited about the subject of one of our feature articles — lean construction. We delve into how lean construction principles can have a dynamic effect on how electrical construction services are delivered. Parsons Electric LLC is providing some industry leading services in this area.
We also profile an accomplishment at Parsons that we are particularly proud of: We are the only electrical contractor to be a four-time winner of the Construction Health and Safety Excellence (CHASE) award. This acknowledgement shows that our commitment to our employees is paying dividends. The CHASE award is recognition for the efforts of many.
In this issue, you’ll find some interesting profiles of our diverse Technical Services division and the importance of thoughtful design when building on a “grand” scale.
